Passing the buck

THE UNPLEASANT incident where in a Mumbai heroine Shilpa Shivanad was allegedly manhandled on the sets has taken a different turn with several industrywallas blaming the Mumbai girls and siding with the person who is framed in this act.

A section of the industry started murmuring about the `high handedness' of the `adamant' Mumbai girls who have literally `bulldozed' producers into accepting their demands for which the `sky is the limit'. However, none wish to speak on that particular incident but complain that these girls have been playing hard to get, demanding five-star amenities and are unpunctual on sets. One producer goes a step farther and says "these girls are flooding the Telugu cinema and are putting the producers to a lot of inconvenience". Pray, who is asking the industry to make a beeline to Mumbai to choose the Bollywood girls!
