Love and laughs

Evam is staging "Barefoot in the Park", a melody-filled romantic comedy, on July 8, 7.30 p.m. at Tidel Park and on July 10, 7.30 p.m. at the Chinmaya Heritage Centre.

Adapted from the hilarious play by Neil Simon, the story combines love and laughs. Paul Bratter is a newly married lawyer.

His wife Corie's main goal in life is to have fun and to have it with Paul. He is working hard to get his career as a lawyer started. She is eager to be romantic and spontaneous. The two have plenty to squabble about. Together they learn how to live and love in an apartment that's laughably small in New York and located on the fifth floor of a building with no elevator. Their passionate relationship gets reduced to a comical discord.

Tickets priced at Rs. 300, Rs. 200 and Rs. 100 are available at Landmark and Odyssey.

There's also a buy one get one free offer for students. Call 98402 22363 for bookings and 52245224 for door delivery.
