Hotel Green Park has become synonymous with innovative food festivals. Last week it was Kebab and Ta-wah festival. The hotel organised the kebab theme in natural settings on their lawns `The Meadows' that was promptly covered to protect the guests from the monsoon showers.

The four-day festival that started on August 7 was a gastronomic delight for the Kebab lovers. Spread unlimited over buffet the non-vegetarian section comprised over 10 varieties of kebabs and tawa preparations like reshmi murgh kebab, achari murgh tikka, chakundari kebab, khasta kebab, tawa kheema kaleji and tawa saag murgh makhani. In the vegetarian section the spread included mouth watering delicacies like bikaneri capsicum and tomato, aloo palak makhani, achari salan mirchi and masala baingan.

To cool the spicy tinge hot jalebi with ice cream was served in the desert section. The in-house live band of the hotel `Rhythm and Taal' provided the required entertainment.

The event was sponsored by Kingfisher drinking water, Pepsi and Frosty Ice cream.
