READY FOR THE RAIN Bobby Deol

READY FOR THE RAIN Bobby Deol

Bobby Deol returns with yet another "Barsaat"

He is as winsome as ever as he strikes an instant chord with scribes-with-attitude and wide-eyed fans alike. Cracking jokes with photographers while posing for pictures, the waiter too doesn't return without a dose of his humour. Uttering Hai Meri Maa,( seems to be his pet phrase) he smartly retorts to a comment on looking so fresh, "This is because I didn't shave for the last four days. I did now so I am looking chikna." Sporting long hair and goggles even inside a not-so-bright room, he adds, "Now don't ask me to remove my sunglasses. They will reveal how fresh I am!" to the laughter of many around him. In short, Bobby Deol knows how to arrest the attention of people about him. And that is perhaps because of his down-to-earth approach and answers dipped in wit and humour.

Despite being a reasonably good actor with looks and the right physique, Bobby hasn't made it big in films as yet. So far, he hasn't carried a film on his shoulder unlike his big brother Sunny `brawn' Deol.

"I think it is only my luck. I work with a lot of conviction. I don't choose a lot of films to keep `over-visibility' at bay but my `patchy days' just don't leave me. Whenever I see myself in emotional roles, I realise that I did it well but unfortunately, only my action films and thrillers work with the audience. I also regret that I have worked in certain projects, which started very well but didn't come out as I expected them to be. Such films have also marred my image greatly," feels the actor.

For now, he is banking on Barsaat for that much-needed shower of good yields as also on Apne and Suneel Darshan's next untitled film.
