Golf for charity

The charity golf tournament Christel House Open 2007 will be held on November 23 at the Karnataka Golf Association golf course. It is an event organised in aid of Christel House, a not-for-profit organisation working with underprivileged children and sponsored by Puma Sports.

The tournament will feature business personalities, corporates and celebrities.

The tournament has been organised for the last five years and it will be an afternoon affair with 50 teams of two golfers each participating. After the game, the prize distribution, cocktails and dinner will be at Taj Gateway.

Christel House, is an International NGO founded by Christel De Haan in 1998 with the mission to educate underprivileged children and help them to become self sufficient, contributing members of society. Schools have been setup in Mexico, Venezuela, South Africa, Indianapolis and India for the education of the children. The organisation is headquartered at Indianapolis, U.S.A.
