This is what the young team of Yuva on Zee Telugu is actively doing these days. A colourful tale set against the backdrop of campus and years of growing up has come across as a lively serial to watch on the channel. Some deft handling of the subject, good characterisation and topped with effective portrayal by the likes of Shreya, Anu, Priyanka, Ravi, Vamsi and Naren has pushed the serial into a not-to-miss-zone of the channel browsing.

`Craft'y touch

In its endeavour to strengthen its viewer base among women, MAA these days is bombarding them with a wide and varied content each day. One such show happens to be Kalakruthi, a concept based on handicrafts that the State is famous for.

Anchored by Jayalaxmi, the show makes a detailed presentation on different styles and the popular handicrafts from various parts, where to get the best of raw material, its cost and how to work on those to make a beautiful artefact. And entrepreneurs willing to work from home can find out how and where to market the crafts.

Bonding with children

Continuing her long and successful run on the telly, Jahnavi of ETV's Padmavyuham fame is all set to appear in a children's film now. Titled Chinnari Pantulamma, the film also has diva of yesteryears, Anjali Devi making an appearance after almost a decade. The shooting for this Target Communications' production commenced recently and is expected to be completed in 12 days. Other members in the cast include Baby Samhita and also Balayya, another actor from yesteryears with an impeccable track record. J. Afshan is directing.
