Blood and gore

FIVE YEARS back, Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill" would never have got through the Indian censors because of the overdose of violence and gore. Tarantino makes stylish but violent films and has become a cult director with "Reservoir Dogs", "Pulp Fiction" and "Jackie Brown". Now "Kill Bill" is another film shot with panache. It is a blood-drenched martial arts fantasy. Tarantino had to split the movie into two due to its length. So "Kill Bill" will have a volume - 2 releasing next May. Uma Thurman, the pregnant bride seeking revenge, is in top form and leaves behind a trail of death and destruction.
