Arty fun for the summer

THERE'S A lot happening in the city this month for kids and teenagers. From art and craft to dance and cooking, here's more on the various summer camps, courses and workshops being conducted in South Chennai...

For kids who like to explore, express and expand, Creative WorX is back with its Project X. The camp to be held at Andhra Social and Cultural Association, T. Nagar, is a perfect way for kids to unwind after the pressure of the school year. This year, the camp will focus on communication and social skills apart from art and craft. Funlover's Activity Corner at Kotturpuram has a range of fun-filled activities to stimulate creativity, provide enjoyment and develop skills. The crafts and games are for kids between eight and 14. Sunrise Fine Arts Academy is organising classes for kids as well as parents. Classes for kids include drawing, chess, dance, bhajans, calligraphy and other crafts. Children's Creative Camp will conduct a Lifetime Gift Program (Special Summer camp) for children aged six to 14 from April 14 to May 31.
