Explore and experience the beauty of the imposing Himalayas in an expedition

Iquest, an organisation involved in adventure and allied activities, is arranging a trek to the Valley of Flowers, Hemkund Sahib, Badrinath and Vasudhara Falls in the Garhwal Himalayas.

The “Valley of Flowers” or “phoolon ki ghati” as it’s known in Hindi is a sight to behold. Situated in Bhyunder Valley, trekkers can see more than 300 varieties of wild plants, herbs and flowers.

It is also a World Natural Heritage site. Hemkund Sahib is the world’s highest Gurudwara and one of the most important Sikh pilgrimage spots. It boasts of a high-altitude lake. Badrinath, one of the most sacred spiritual destinations also has amazing hot springs.

And beyond the last village in the Indian boundary, towards Tibet is the Vasundhara Falls, a beautiful waterfall amidst stunning peaks and valleys. Haridwar and Rishikesh are popular spiritual destinations and also a good location for the final day of rest and sight seeing. Over and above this, there is the mighty Ganga which overlooks the city.

The expedition offers an opportunity to experience the nature at its best. The location is one of the most sought out for photography. And on the return trip you can also see world-famous Ganga aarti at Haridwar and Rishikesh.
