Yamaha widens its stable with three more bikes

Y amaha is set to launch a fresh product offensive in India with as many as three bikes next month. The most significant among them will be the SZ 150, which will try to rope in customers looking for a 150cc Yamaha, but not as expensive as the sporty FZ 16.

The SZ 150, which is expected to sport a 2-valve 11bhp, 1.04kgm torque engine is likely to be priced between Rs. 55,000 to Rs. 60,000 as against the FZ 16 that is priced at over Rs. 70,000. The bike is also expected to have alloy wheels and a longer wheelbase. Giving company to the SZ 150 will be the YBR 125 — a commuter segment bike. Yamaha now also has a refreshed version of the Fazer.
