It’s celebration time at Ente Keralam and China Town

Ente Keralam’s “Theen Mura” Syrian Christian Cuisine Festival will be on from today till January 4, 2009. The Specialty vegetarian course meal includes vazhapoo cutlet, bread fruit mappas, palappam with vegetable stew, koon kurumulakittathu, koorka ularthiyathu, pavakka varathathu and chuvanna chor. The non-vegetarian section will include cutlet, bread with fish moilee and tharavu roast, palappam with attirachi stew, erachi ularthiyathu and meen pattichathu. Desserts include panniyum pazhavam, black alva, aval vilayichathu, vattayappam and the meal starts with wine and plum cake. Call 42328585 for details.

The Chinese Christmas Festival at China Town, on till January 4, 2009, features vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

It is an a la carte menu, and the festival is open for lunch and dinner. Choose from starters and soups, a main course and desserts. Check out the apple toffee with ice-cream and more.

The food festival is open for dinner only on December 24 and 31 between 7 p.m. and 11.30 p.m. and only lunch on December 25 and January 1 between noon and 3 p.m. Call 28112246 for details.
