Sample Caribbean cuisine at a fest at Spring Hotel

Enjoy Caribbean fare at the global cuisine restaurant, The Movies, at the Spring Hotel, till May 16. Non-vegetarian specialities include barbequed jerk chicken, peppered steak, fried snapper, Hawaiian shrimp and squid and Jamaican beef patties. Vegetarian dishes include spicy Jamaican potatoes, fried dumplings, papaya stew, Jamaican red bean stew, pickled hot peppers and Macaroni cheese pie. There's a range of desserts too such as Haitian custard pie, pumpkin pudding, coconut crème brulee and opera gateaux.

The menu changes on a daily basis.

The Movie is open from 7.30 p.m. to 11 .30 p.m. and the special buffet rate is Rs. 650.
