Maharudra yagnam

THE THIRUVENGADU Subramania Ganapadigal Veda Parayana Sabha, Adambakkam, Chennai (Ph: 2244 6820) is conducting its 66th annual yagna from March 3 to 13 at Govindapuram, near Kumbakonam. Every day, the programme will begin with a Ganapathi Homam. On March 3, the Swamigal of Kanchi will be honoured with a silver throne. On March 7, Rudra Abishekam and Aghorashtra Yagnam will be performed at Tiruvengadu. A Yajur Veda competition will also be held. Balakrishna Sastrigal, disciple of Sri Krishna Premi Maharaj, will give discourses in the evenings. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal will bless the devotees on the concluding day. Vasrothara Homam, Dampathi puja and Cow Dhanam will also form part of the programme.
