Over 100 artistes from various fields have been conferred Kalaimamani. The awards will be given away on February 25.

Nadopasana wins the Best Trophy Award for Arts (2005), Perambur Sangita Sabha wins the shield for Best Art Institution and Kalamandir wins the rolling trophy for Best Drama Troupe. Ra ni Somanathan, T. N. Somasundara Odhuvar, Saradha, I.S. Murugesan, S.V. Shanmugam and P.S. Seethalakshmi will receive a purse of Rs.15,000.
