Adding new dimension to the Star Wars saga

THOSE INTERESTED in epics and comics, tune in to Star Wars:Clone Wars, an epic micro-series, consisting of 20 animated short films, which is on air on Cartoon Network from November 10. The first 10 episodes are shown during weekdays at 17.00, till November 23. The next 10 episodes will debut in Spring 2004. It is an epic civil war that pits the old republic against a vast separatist movement led by the forces of evil. Produced at Cartoon Network Studios by Genndy Tartakovsky, each episodic short will be approximately three minutes in length and will air exclusively on the channel. The characters that appear in the new animated forms in the first ten chapters will be Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu and Obi-Wan Kenobi along with Kit Fisto, a Jedi, who leads a special aquatic unit of Clone Troopers. Count Dooku, the leader of the separatist movement is joined in this war against evil forces, by a fierce female warrior trained in the ways of the Sith. The war takes place on planets including Coruscant, Munnilist, Mon Calamari and Rattatak.
