Test for admission into Forest Research Institute



The Forest Research Institute Dehradun has invited applications for its admission test to be conducted on May 14 for the following courses: MSc Forestry (25 seats). (Eligibility: bachelors degree in science with at least one of the following subjects - botany, chemistry, geology, mathematics, physics, zoology or B.Sc. in Agriculture or Forestry) M.Sc. Wood Science and Technology (25 seats). (three years bachelors degree with physics, mathematics and chemistry as subjects or B.Sc. in Forestry.) M.Sc. Environment management (25 seats). (three years bachelors degree in any branch of basic or applied science or Bachelors Degree in Forestry or Agriculture or BE/B.Tech. in Environmental Science.) PG Diploma in Natural Resource Management (15 seats) (Eligibility - M.Sc. PG Diploma in Management of Non-Wood Forest Product (22 seats) (1 year). (Eligibility - M.Sc. in Botany, Zoology, Forestry, Chemistry.) Test centres include Coimbatore, Bangalore, Delhi, Lucknow, Ranchi, Dehradun, Jabalpur, Jodhpur, Shimla and Kolkata.
