Education U.K. exhibition



The British Council is organising its annual Education U.K. Exhibition in Bangalore, where students can meet more than 100 representatives and attend seminars that will help them understand the admission procedure and requirements for studying in the U.K.

The exhibition will be held on February 5 and 6 at the Taj Residency on M.G. Road. It will be open to students from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and cater to subjects mainly at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Options are also available for students who want to pursue a diploma course. There will be seminars on topics such as Biotechnology, Business and Management, Postgraduate courses and Student Visas. Information about scholarships, IELTS and student library membership details will also be available.

British Council, India, is launching ‘Experience U.K.,’ an online game aimed at students wanting to study in the U.K. The game familiarises the player with the different aspects of studying and living in the U.K. During the course of the game, the student gets information related to various courses, admission criteria, fee structure, budgeting and immigration regulations. The student also gets information on places of interest, the weather and study destinations. The game has been developed by Nipan Maniar, currently working as a senior lecturer, who came to the U.K. as a student from India eight years ago.

The exhibition which begins in Bangalore will travel to Hyderabad, Chennai, New Delhi and Pune. Students can visit >www.educationuk-in.org for seminar details and registration.
