The benefits of cow milk

IN India, traditionally milk has always been an important part of one's diet. Pure Indian breed cow milk and its derivatives were, in fact, recognized and accepted as having immense medicinal value.

Charaka Samhita, the ancient text on Indian Medicine, strongly recommends the use of Desi Cow products for the treatment of various ailments. The pure Indian breed desi cow produces A2 milk, which contains less Betacosmophorine-7 (BCM-7), Thus A2 milk is the healthier option.

Attributes of desi cow milk:

Calcium found in desi cow milk protects the colon cells from chemicals which lead to cancer.

Helps in reducing PMS symptoms and also prevents migraine headaches.

Prevents obesity in children and also helps adults to lose weight, especially around the midsection.

Calcium effectively fights breast cancer, while playing an integral role in muscle contraction, blood clotting, and regulation of blood pressure and function of cell membrane.

With the introduction of new varieties of cattle into our country on a commercial scale, our own pure Indian breeds are in danger. Indian milk planners should focus on producing A2 milk by promoting Desi Cow breeds. This is the time to rethink what is best for overall good health and to take into account the natural, commercial and social advantages related to the milk of the Indian breed of cows.

Since its recent inception, Charaka Dairy has actively upheld the return to traditional health values through the production and promotion of the Desi Cow Milk, by offering healthy and safe dairy products of the highest quality.
