Rupee loses further ground

MUMBAI: The rupee on Tuesday lost further ground against the U.S. currency due to hectic corporate and importer dollar demand amid a robust dollar overseas and rising crude oil prices even as healthy foreign fund inflows into equity markets limited losses. In slightly nervous trading at the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee ended at 43.5750/5800 a dollar, another three paise decline from yesterday's finish of 43.5450/5550 following a weak opening of 43.55/57. — PTI
