Pininfarina, the Italian car designing company of the Mahindra Group, has bagged a contract from Vietnamese carmaker VinFast Trading and Production Ltd. Company for development of two cars, an SUV and a sedan, the company said.
Pininfarina is known for developing sports cars including Ferrari and Alfa Romeo. The two models to be developed by Pininfarina are the two most voted designs by Vietnamese consumers in a contest that started in October, 2017.
After unveiling 20 concept designs submitted by leading design houses including Pininfarina, Vinfast asked customers to chose the best designs.
