Range of digital cameras from Fujifilm

NEW DELHI: Japan-based photographic solutions company Fujifilm on Thursday launched seven new digital cameras, including FinePix F200EXR, a high-end compact camera that comes with latest features for excellent picture quality. The company also announced plans to strengthen its retail network in India and invest in after-sales service and distribution network. Launching the new range of digital cameras, priced between Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 35,000, Fujifilm India Managing Director Kenichi Tanaka said: “This year, we intend to intensify our campaign and develop the brand image of digital cameras. We also aim to reinforce technical and marketing support to existing channel network so as to penetrate deeper into the Indian market.”

According to Fujifilm India Country General Manager A. Rajkumar, “Our objective is to create, sustain and reinforce the brand equity by creating the right marketing mix in terms of product, price and promotion.”

Fujifilm’s expansion plans include adding more people to its team in India to support its growing operations in order to grab a market share of 5-7 per cent this fiscal against the current 3 per cent, he added.
