Three-day State-wide strike begins today

Class III and IV workers attached to the Maharashtra government will be on a three-day strike from Tuesday. Besides government offices, hospitals are bound to take a hit in terms of paper work, cleanliness, patient movement, and nursing care. The workers want a five-day week, increase in retirement age, filling of vacancies and implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission.
