Court's advice to end strike

Legal Correspondent

HYDERABAD: A division bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court opined on Tuesday that the striking APSRTC workers may withdraw from the agitation so that a new committee, which will be appointed by the court, will look at the issues raised by them. The cases are adjourned to Wednesday.

The bench comprising the Acting Chief Justice, Bilal Nazki, and Justice G. Chandraiah was dealing with two writ petitions filed complaining that the Government had failed to take steps to prevent the strike and provide relief to the general public.
