Pillion rider dies after two-wheeler hits barricade on bypass near Kovur

A 64-year-old resident of Kolathur died after he fell from a two-wheeler on Tambaram-Maduravoyal Bypass, near Kovur, on Monday. The Avadi Traffic Investigation Wing have registered a case.

The police said that when Selvaraj and his son Prakash were riding on the bypass, the latter lost control of the vehicle and hit a barricade.

Selvaraj, who was riding pillion, died on the spot, while Mr. Prakash suffered minor injuries.
