With COVID-19 cases on the rise, the Health Department has made wearing of masks mandatory in all government hospitals in Tamil Nadu from Saturday.

Health Minister Ma. Subramanian on Friday told reporters that infections initially start increasing in hospitals. Hence, this measure is being introduced.
