20 injured in grenade explosion near J&K Assembly

SRINAGAR: At least 20 people, including four securitymen and two children, were injured as militants triggered a powerful grenade explosion in the high security Jehangir Chowk near the Assembly complex here on Thursday. Official sources said the grenade exploded outside the main gate of Kashmir Haat around 7 p.m. when there was a heavy rush of people at the exhibition crossing as the only flyover in the city was kept out of bounds. — PTI
