Sasi Kumar Mukund battled to a 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 victory over Evan King of the United States in the second round of the Challenger tennis tournament.

Sasi Kumar, who had a bye in the first round, could run into the top seed Aljaz Bedene of Slovenia in the pre-quarterfinals.
