Saketh Myneni has been awarded the final singles wild card for next week’s $150,000 Bengaluru Open ATP Challenger.
The 31-year-old, who started the year ranked outside the top 600, has climbed to 315. His only title of the year came in the Futures circuit when he won in Uzbekistan in April.
Last week, he made the doubles semifinal at the Shenzhen Challenger in the company of Ramkumar Ramanathan.
“Thank you to the organisers for believing in me and giving me a wild card. I hope to utilise this opportunity and perform to the best of my abilities,” said Saketh.
