Rutuja Bhosale won her second singles title of the season, defeating Hua-Chen Lee of Chinese Taipei 6-4, 2-6, 7-5 in the final of the $15,000 ITF women’s tennis tournament on Saturday.

Rutuja, however, could not add to her five doubles titles as she and Alexandra Walters of Australia, lost to the unseeded Indian pair of Zeel Desai and Y. Pranjala.

It was the second doubles title for Zeel and Pranjala, who had won their earlier title with different partners.

The results: $25,000 ITF women, Redding (USA): Quarterfinals: Robin Anderson (USA) bt Karman Kaur Thandi 6-7(6), 6-1, 6-3.

Doubles (semifinals): Daneika Borthwick (GBr) & Ana Veselinovic (Mne) bt Sandra Samir (Egy) & Karman Kaur Thandi 7-6(8), 6-2.

$15,000 ITF women, Hua Hin, Thailand: Finals: Rutuja Bhosale bt Hua-Chen Lee (Tpe) 6-4, 2-6, 7-5; Doubles: Zeel Desai & Y. Pranjala bt Alexandra Walters (Aus) & Rutuja Bhosale 6-2, 7-5.
