B.N.S. Reddy, a former Additional Commissioner of Police and a current member of the BCCI’s Anti-Corruption Unit, beat Bruce Barrios of the U.S. 7-6, 6-3 in the men’s singles final to win the gold medal at the World Police and Fire Games in Chengdu, China, recently.
In doubles, Reddy had to be content with silver as he and Surinder Mohan Sharma lost to the pair of Sabandon Eduardo (Phi) and Helminen Risto (Fin) 5-7, 6-4, [10-7] in the final.
This is the third consecutive time Reddy has won a gold medal at the World Police and Fire Games.
