Ramkumar passes the Jung test

Ramkumar Ramanathan fired 18 aces en route to a 6-7(4), 7-5, 6-4 victory over Jason Jung of Chinese Taipei in the first round of the €127,000 Challenger tennis tournament on Monday.

In the ITF men’s Futures in Harare, Dhruv Sunish knocked out fourth seed Darko Bojanovic 6-2, 6-4 in the first round. In another match, Niki Poonacha stunned seventh seed Siphosothando Montsi of South Africa 5-7, 6-1, 6-2.
