Nayanika Devi Reddy in quarterfinals

Nayanika Devi Reddy knocked out the fourth-seeded Nina Stojanovic of Serbia 7-5, 6-4 in the girls' pre-quarterfinals of the ITF juniors grade ‘III' tennis tournament at the DLTA Complex here on Wednesday.

The eighth-seeded Simran Kaur Sethi fought her way past Chinese Xue Jiayuan in three sets, while Spurti Shivalingaiah was the third Indian to make the quarterfinals.

In the boys' event, the top-seeded Rishab Agarwal was the lone Indian to make the quarterfinals, as he dismissed Jeroen Royakkers of Belgium for the loss of three games.
