Myneni marches into semifinals

Fourth seed Saketh Myneni sailed past Edan Leshem 6-4, 6-3 in the quarterfinals of the $54,160 Challenger tennis tournament on Friday.

In the semifinals, Saketh will face Filip Peliwo of Canada who was let off the hook by Sasi Kumar Mukund. From the brink of victory, Sasi Kumar lost his way against the ninth seed. The final scoreline read: 6-7(2), 7-6(5), 6-2.

In the ATP event in Lyon, Leander Paes and Benoit Paire lost 6-3, 3-6, [10-8] to the Skupski brothers, Ken and Neal, in the semifinals.
