Dubai Tennis Championships: Jeevan and Purav qualify

Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Purav Raja won two rounds to qualify for the doubles main draw of the $2,887,895 ATP Dubai Duty Free tennis championship in the UAE.

Leander Paes and Benoit Paire of France have got a wild card entry and will play Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan in the first round.

In singles, Ramkumar Ramanathan has got a wild card entry in the main draw and will play Roberto Bautista Agut of Spain in the first round.

The results: $2,887,895 ATP, Dubai, Qualifying doubles (second and final round): Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan & Purav Raja bt Hubert Hurkacz (Pol) & Denis Kudla (US) 6-4, 6-2; First round: Jeevan & Purav bt Karim Mohamed Maamoun & Mohamed Safwat (Egy) 4-6, 6-2, [10-6].
