WINNING FEELING! Rohan Bopanna and Mahesh Bhupathi celebrate after winning the doubles final of the Dubai Tennis Championships.

Mahesh Bhuapthi and Rohan Bopanna won their first title together after pipping the Polish pair of Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski in the summit clash of the ATP Dubai Open, here on Saturday.

Bhupathi and Bopanna, seeded fourth, secured a 6-4, 3-6, 10-5 win after facing a stiff resistance from their rivals in the final of the $1,700,475 hard court event.

It is the fourth Dubai title for Bhupathi, having lifted the trophy in 1998 with Leander Paes, in 2004 with Fabrice Santoro and in 2008 with Mark Knowles. For Bopanna, it is the sixth ATP title of his career.

At Dubai (Dubai Tennis Championships): Semifinals : Roger Federer bt del Potro 7-6(5), 7-6 (6). Doubles: Final: Mahesh Bhuapthi & Rohan Bopanna bt Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski 6-4, 3-6, 10-5 .

At Delray Beach (Delray Beach International): Quarterfinals: Kevin Anderson bt Andy Roddick 2-6, 7-6(9), 6-4; John Isner bt Bernard Tomic 6-3, 6-2; Marinko Matosevic, bt Ernests Gulbis 3-6, 6-1, 6-1; Dudi Sela bt Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-4, 6-7(4), 6-0.

At Kuala Lumpur (WTA Malaysian Open): Semifinals: Hsieh Su-wei bt Eleni Daniilidou 6-0, 4-6, 6-1. Quarterfinals : Eleni Daniilidou bt Olivia Rogowska 6-2, 3-6, 6-2; Jelena Jankovic bt Ayumi Morita w/o.
