Wozniacki continues to lead women’s rankings

Even though she lost the final of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Germany on the weekend, Caroline Wozniacki continues to lead the WTA women’s tennis rankings released on Monday.

The Dane, who was beaten by local favourite Julia Goerges in straight sets in the final in Stuttgart, leads ahead of Kim Clijsters of Belgium and Vera Zvonareva of Russia.

The only change in the top ten was the swapping of places between Australian Samantha Stosur and China’s Li Na, with Stosur moving back into sixth.
