NEW DELHI: Top seed Chantal Skamlova of Slovakia proved too hot for Rishika Sunkara as she blasted her way to a 6-0, 6-1 victory in the pre-quarterfinals of the $15,000 ITF women’s tennis tournament in Egypt. The other Indian in the fray, Natasha Palha, lost 6-4, 6-4 by qualifier Anastasia Sukhotina of Russia. — Sports Bureau
