Sachin Tendulkar's participation in the upcoming Champions League Twenty20 tournament remained in doubt, but Mumbai Indians coach Robin Singh confirmed that Harbhajan Singh would be available for the Mumbai side.

Robin said if Tendulkar were to miss out on the action, it would provide an ‘opportunity for others to prove their mettle.' Harbhajan, on the other hand, was definitely available, he said.

Tendulkar had pulled out of the ODI leg of India's tour of England due to a toe injury, while Harbhajan returned to India after the second Test because of an abdominal strain.

Practice cancelled

Mumbai Indians arrived in Chennai after the conclusion of a camp in Bangalore, but its practice session scheduled for the evening was cancelled due to overnight rain. Mumbai Indians, along with Australian side New South Wales Blues, will have a session at the nets, followed by a practice match on Sunday.
