Sneha hits double century

V. Sneha Deepthi of Visakhapatnam scored the first double century in Andhra women's cricket, in the ACA North Zone senior women inter-district tournament league match here on Monday.

Sneha followed her 151 (retired) in the under-19 tournament against Vizianagaram four days ago smashing an unbeaten 203 (115b, 36x4), against East Godavari to create the record. With G. Polamma (60 not out), she added 194 for the unbroken third wicket in 135 balls as Visakhapatnam made 329 for three.

P. Samata picked up three wickets and K. Jyothi and captain V. Keerthi chipped in with two wickets each to skittle out East Godavari for 28 as Visakhapatnam won by 301 runs.

The scores: Visakhapatnam 329 for three in 42 overs (V. Sneha Deepthi 203 n.o., G. Polamma 60 n.o.) bt East Godavari 28 in 30.4 overs (P. Samata three for 8).

Srikakulam 164 for three in 50 overs (K.V.S.P. Chandana 51 n.o., M. Harika Yadav 33) bt Vizianagaram 114 for nine in 50 overs (S. Yamuna Devi 46, L. Lakshmi Devi three for 31).

Ricky bats well

Ricky Bhui of Visakhapatnam followed up his first innings century with 81 (10x4, 2x6) and G. Vamsidhar Reddy scored 85 (10x4,1x6) for Vizianagaram in their teams' league matches in the ACA North Zone under-16 inter-district tournament here on Monday.

The scores: Visakhapatnam 312 in 83 overs (Ricky Bhui 101, K. Harish 54, M. Puneet-50, Gulfam-e-Saleh 28, Rambabu three for 37, I. Karthik Raman three for 108) and 193 for six in 37.2 overs (Ricky Bhui 81, K. Harish 45 batting) vs. East Godavari 150 in 43.3 overs (S. Imtiyaz 46 n.o., Karthik Raman 31, K. Harish three for 42).

Vizianagaram 227 in 64.3 overs and 233 in 49.1 overs (G. Vamsidhar Reddy 85, R. Ravikumar 79, Harish three wickets for two runs, L. Rakesh Augustine three for 32) vs. Srikakulam 162 in 64.2 overs (N. Shiva Kishan 33, Raj Kumar 30 n.o., Bhanu Prakash 27, B. Tapasvi four for 73).
