The following mock races and track work were noted over the last week-end.
Race track - Mock race
1,400m: Gestapo (Trevor), Commodore (Kharadi) and Zephir (Akshay) 1-33, 600/37. Sh, 5. First two named were impressive and finished in close order.
Second Mock race
1,200m: Colombiana (Kamlesh), Be Cautious (Jaykumar), Shivalik Heroine (Ajinkya), Ostwind (Neeraj), Godspeed (Yash Narredu), The Champ (Parmar) and Second Innings (Pereira) 1-12.5, 600/35.5. 3, Nk, 2. Colombiana who was racing fifth or sixth till the bend easily covered the leeway and won by three lengths. Colombiana pleased.
Third mock race
1,000m: Doc Holiday (app), Alishas Pet (app), Bella Figura (app), Shivalik Rose (app) and Argonautica (app) 1-00, 600/35. Won by 3l, 3l, dist. Doc Holiday won from pillar to post.
Sand track — Oct. 26
800m: 2/y/o’s Old Forester/Fiery Pegasus (Sandesh), Star Comrade (Bhawani) 53, 600/39. Former superior.
Gate practice (Sand)
1,000m: A 2/y/o bay filly (Arazan/Zarandja) (G.Amit), a 3/y/o bay filly (Champ Elysees/On The Wind) (F.Irani) 1-12, 800/55, 600/41. They moved freely.
Sand track — Oct. 25
1,000m: Victoria Harbour (Zervan), Top Bracket (Pradeep) 1-7, 600/40. Former finished a distance ahead.
1,200m: Phoenix Tiger (Zervan), Shadowfax (Pradeep) 1-21, 600/40. Former who maintains form finished a distance ahead.
