The Poonawalla Breeders Multi-Million, known as the ‘Juvenile Derby’, will be staged here on February 25 (Sunday).
The total stakes for the 29th successive running of this mega event will be ₹1,45,00,000 and more than a dozen horses will vie for premier honours. The RWITC will add a gross amount of ₹40 lakh to Sunday’s combined jackpot pool collection.
There will also be a ‘Free Contest of Skill’ where the punters have to nominate the first four placings as they pass the winning post of the glamour race. The first prize is a Honda Jazz and the other prizes are a scooter, a 32-inch LED TV and a laptop.
The races will be run both in the afternoon and under floodlights.
