Owing to rain the underfoot condition was non conducive for racing on the outer side of the Monsoon track, hence the Stewards of RWITC decided to remove the false rails and the remaining eighth and ninth races were conducted on the inner side of the Monsoon track. The last two races were delayed by more than half an hour.
