Pablito wins P. Natesan Cup

Craig Marshall-trained Pablito (A.M. Alam astride) won the P. Natesan Cup, the main event of the races here on Thursday (Nov. 22). The winner is the property of Mr. Wayne Beck. Craig Marshall also saddled two more winners on the day.

Earlier, despite some grumblings from regular jockeys, the Stewards of the Madras Race Club took a bold decision to go ahead with the day’s card with the services of apprentice jockeys. The apprentice jockeys, who won many races, came in for praise from the officials and spectators. A. Imran Khan was the only seasoned jockey to fulfil his obligation on the day.
