Darashah retires

Veteran trainer Zareer Darashah has announced his retirement from racing on Wednesday.

He first got the licence in Bangalore in 1969. In his career, he has won more than 2200 races and around 25 championship winners in both (Bangalore and Mysore) centres.

He recorded Classic wins through horses — Lovely Smitha, Treasure Girl, Fire Haven, Dupont and Negeresco, to name a few.
