Holy Empire and Prize Finder excelled when the horses were exercised here on Monday morning (Jan. 12).

Inner sand:

600m: Strombolite (Anjar), Sunstone (Selvaraj) 40.5. Former finished four lengths ahead.

1,200m: Absolute Red (Selvaraj) 1-20, 1,000/1-8, 600/39.5. Pleased.

Outer sand:

600m: Mystical Shadow (Kiran Rai) 45. Easy. Sweet Angel (rb) 45.5. Moved freely. Apollo Rising (Asgar) 46. Extended. Ace Angelfire (Afsar), Affirmative (Imam) 45. Former finished three lengths ahead.

1,200m: Amazing Redd (Md. Shoaib), Angus (rb) 1-31, 1,000/1-15, 600/45.5. They moved well. Native Force (R. Pradeep) 1-30, (1,200-600) 43.5. Eased up. Holy Empire (R. Marshall) 1-27, 1,000/1-13, 600/45.5. Moved attractively. Star Of Destiny (Anjar) 1-30, (1,200-600) 40. Pleased.

1,400m: Prize Finder (B. Naveen) 1-41, 1,200/1-26.5, 1,000/1-13, 600/45.5. In fine nick.

Gate practice – Inner sand:

1,400m: Sun Glow (rb), Super Strong (Noornabi) 1-33.5, (1,400-600) 46.5. Former finished six lengths ahead. A 3-y-o (Sedgefield – Masara) (Ashok Kumar), a 3-y-o (Carnival Dancer – Empress Ann) (Rajesh Kumar) 1-39, (1,400-600) 50.5. Former finished two lengths ahead. A 3-y-o (Oath – Temple Tune) (Shobhan), a 3-y-o (Royal Gladiator- Glenviews Purchase) (rb) 1-36, (1,400-600) 48.5. They jumped out smartly. Zeeshan (Irvan Singh), Orca (rb) 1-38, (1,400-600) 48. They took a level jump.

Outer sand – Jan. 11:
