U-17 chess: Rithvik stays in lead

R. Raja Rithvik (7.5 points) maintained his lead in the open category after the eighth round of the Dr. N. Mahalingam 28th National under-17 chess championship here on Sunday.

In the girls’ category, Arpita Mukherjee, Sakshi Chitlange and Tarini Goyal shared the lead with 6.5 points each.
