November 5, 2017 - The 47th running of the New York City Marathon, and the concluding race of the six annual World Marathon Majors.
The race starts in Staten Island and finishes in Central Park, and will feature defending champions Ghirmay Ghebreslassie of Eritrea, who last year became the youngest men’s winner of the race with a time of 2:07:51, and Kenya’s Mary Keitany, who is aiming for a fourth consecutive title in New York.
