A.P. Rugby Association general secretary C. Ramanjaneyulu on Thursday announced the names of 12 boys and 10 girls selected to represent Andhra Pradesh in the Third National Junior Rugby Championship slated to be held at Nehru stadium in Chennai on June 10 and 11.
The selected boys are: Ganesh and Murali (Chittoor), Srikanth (Prakasam), Raghu and Basha (Anantapur), Manikantha and Kishore (Guntur), Srikanth and Sumanth (Nellore) and Eeranna, Syam and Nadeem (Kurnool), he said in a statement.
The selected girls are: K. Kirthi, Salomi, Famida Begum, Jayalakshmi, Jyotsna, Jyothirmayi, Supraja, Bharathi, Sujatha and Lahari.
Rajya Sabha member T.G. Venkatesh congratulated the selected players at his residence here.
