Sree Saraswathi Vidhyaah Mandheer School (Mettupalayam) clinched the overall championship for both boys and girls in the 34th CBSE Sahodaya athletic meet at the Nehru Stadium here on Saturday. Sainik and Soundaraja Vidhyalaya wrested the overall championship for boys and girls respectively.

Easy for Laidlaw MS
At Udhagamandalam, Laidlaw Memorial School scored a facile five-wicket win over Stanes HSS (Coonoor) in the NDCA under-15 inter-school cricket tournament for the Azhar Hassan Memorial Rolling Trophy on Saturday.
The scores : Stanes HSS (Coonoor) 109 (Rohan Prabhu three for 20) lost to Laidlaw MS 110 for five in 29.3 overs.
