Indian third seed B. Sai Praneeth captured the men’s singles title in the $1,20,000 Thailand Open Grand Prix badminton championship here on Sunday.

Praneeth defeated Indonesian fourth seed Jonatan Christie 17—21, 21—18, 21—19 in an hour and 11 minutes in the final.

In yesterday’s semi-final, he had scored a scored a comfortable win over Pannawit Thongnuam of Thailand.
